MaxMet Scholarship
MaxMet offers Scholarships to Tsinghua University

Two scholarships for post-graduate students is being offered annually by MaxMet Inc. to Tsinghua University . The scholarships will be awarded each year beginning with the first scholastic semester. The award will go to two post-graduate students in the areas of instrumental electronics related majors of the Department of Engineering Physics of Tsinghua University .

To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must

  • MaxMet scholarship will be awarded to excellent graduate students (with electronics related majors) of Tsinghua University
  • Students within the Department of Engineering Physics should apply directly for the scholarship
  • The candidates are loyal to the country (P.R. China), obedient to Law and Order, and possess integrity and decency
  • The candidates are diligent and excellent in their academic studies
  • The candidates possess strong organisational and management skills, and the ability to co-operate with others
  • The candidates possess the will to make significant contributions to science, the country and the world
  • The scholarship committee decides the award winners
  • The University to provide the names of the award winners and their credentials, details of the award ceremony and invitation to MaxMet for the ceremony

    Applications should be addressed to the Department of Engineering Physics, Tsinghua University .

    After his/her graduate study in Tsinghua University, the candidates can have, through the qualification procedure of MaxMet, the possibility of working in MaxMet Research Institute of Measurement & Telecommunication (MRIMT). MaxMet will support him/her to become the best expert in the world through MaxMet Graduate Studies Support Program.

    Last September 2002, MaxMet CEO, Dr. Rex C. H. Kim and the Vice-President Louisa T. C. Kim visited Tsinghua University and awarded two scholariships to Mr.Zhang, a Ph.D. candidate of the department of Engineering Physics and Mr.Li, a M.Sc. candidate in the same department.     MaxMet CEO, Dr.Kim. he himself the KAIST(Korea Advanced Inst. Sci. & Tech.) graduate said in the ceremony that MaxMet will enlarge the MaxMet Excellence International Program to support the excellent students in the KAIST in Republic of Korea as well as in Tsinghua University.
