The Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies(KOFST) invites the outstanding scientists and engineers from overseas to work in various research institutes/centers in Korea.

¢Â Fields ; DSP, Firmware, Digital Signal Processing, Electronics, Information, Communications, NETWORK, TCP/IP, Analog and Digital Circuits Design)

MaxMet Research Institute Approx. 3-5 Professional Qualified Engineers
¢Â Requirements
¡¤ Doctoral degree holder ; more than 5 years overseas experiences in R&D
post-doctoral ; All nationalities are invited.
¡¤ Regardless of his/her degree, outstanding Overseas Korean or foreign scientists/engineers who have proven achievements and in-depth experiences for more than 5 years in his/her field(s).
¢Â Invitation Period
¡¤ From 3 months to 2 years
¡¤ Invitation period may be extended.
¢Â Financial Support(Korean Government)
Visiting expenses are paid on monthly basis, in addition round trip airplane tickets and moving expenses will be reimbursed at the beginning of the term. Accident and Health Insurance will be also covered during the term of stay.

¡¤ Joint R&D projects as requested by the host organizations in Korea.
¡¤ Joint R&D projects with new or existing research/development teams.
¡¤ Special lectures, seminars, conferences, etc.
¢Â Application Period
1. 1st Application : From January 6, 2003 to February 6, 2003 (urgent)
2. 2nd Application term : by the end of 30th March

- The list of research subjects proposed by the host organizations and where the
invited scientists/engineers are to work can be found at regional Associations
(KSEA, AKCSE) offices and KOFST's website (http://www.kofst.or.kr).
- The title of the research subject(s) with its serial number should be specified on
the completed application form.
- For further detailed information, please contact the regional Associations in their
respective countries.
