Call for Papers
The International Conference on Reliability, Maintainability and Safety (ICRMS) is the highest-class academic conference on reliability, maintainability and safety(RMS)in China. It was founded by the seven most famous academies in China which are China Ordnance Society, Chinese Society of Aeronautics, Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Chinese Institute of Electronics, Chinese Society of Astronautics, China Instrument Society and Chinese Society for Applied Statistics. The conference is undertaken by each academy in turn.
It has been held five times successfully in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Dalian since 1992. With its increased influence, it has become a pageant for academic discussion in China. The aim of the conference is to present and discuss the new developments of RMS, improve the quality of products, techniques approach, and management measures of RMS, enhance understanding and friendship between scholars of China and other countries, accelerate academic boom and progress, benefit the people.
You are invited to submit an abstract and paper for the 6th ICRMS, and are welcome to attend the ICRMS’2004 in Xi’an. Especially, the papers which are helpful to solve practical problem effectively in RMS are welcome. The hotel location will enable delegates to stay close to the meeting and facilitate interactions. Contributions
The Organization Committee invites contributions in the form of an abstract and a paper. Three ways below are acceptable, you can choose one of them.
a. Submit a paper for consideration, email an abstract and the pre-registration to ICRMS'2004 Secretariat at first. You will be informed to submit a paper after the abstract is accepted.
b. Submit a paper with an abstract and the pre-registration no later than March 31, 2003. Accepted papers will be informed (If you want to get the notification of acceptance in advance, please contact the secretariat).
c. Submit a paper with an abstract and the pre-registration no later than December 31, 2003. Accepted papers will be informed after review.
Deadlines
Receipt of abstract: March 31, 2003
Notification of provisional acceptance: May 31, 2003
Receipt of full papers in print-ready form: December 31, 2003
Notification of acceptance of papers: January 31, 2004
The abstract should be within 300 words. Both the abstract and the paper must be prepared in accordance with the guidelines at http://www.ICRMS.org.

The working language of the Conference is English.
Expense budget
Hotel charge: five-star: $130-180/night (twin)
three-star $50-90/night (twin)
Registration fee: 500$ (includes access to conference, conference proceedings -1 volume of choice, two banquets, four lunches, technical visit fee)
