Dear Colleague,
ISO cup has four classes as follows,
Outer dia. (upper) : 86 mm including the weir
Outer dia. (cylinder stem) : 56 mm
length of orifice(see picture) : 20 mm
Orifice diameters (4 different species according to the orifice diameter)
3 mm cup, 4 mm cup, 5 mm cup and 6 mm cup
The calibration equations are as follows,
[3 mm cup] v= 0.443 t -( 200 / t )
[4 mm cup] v = 1.37 t - ( 200 / t )
[5 mm cup ] v = 3.28 t - ( 220 / t )
[6 mm cup ] v = 6.90 t - ( 570 / t )
v : kniematic viscosity in mm^2/s, or cSt
t : flow time , seconds
