Dear Mr. Bara,
Nice to see your comment again.
MUD flow meters are emplyed in two areas as follows,
1. waste water (sewerage treatment)
2. oil drilling process
Normally it is based on the ultrasonic technology.
- ultrasonic flow meter in the way of open channel concept (but this requires the particle concentration should be lean enough for the easy
propagation of the ultrasonic beams)
Badger produces these meters.

- Doppler type conduit flow meter
(Polysonics produce this type of flow meter)
Regrding the item 2 above, Petreco in Norway recently developed "J-meter (Return Mud Flow Meter)".

MaxMet does not produce that type of product yet but in the nearest future I hope we could supply those type of flow meters too.

: I am looking for a flowmeter that is fairly accurate and reliable to measure mud
: We are thinking about flow control of mud from wastewater plant( with about 70% humidity), so if you have or know any way to have flow control(commercial instrumentation,..), I would like to know it.
: Best regards
