MaxMet newly launched its business in ocean measurement technology. MaxMet is undertaking the development of Ultrasonic Flow Profiler(UFP) under the support of Korean Ministry of Maritime Affaries and Fisheries(MOMAF).

MaxMet applies extraordinary DSP technologies embedded ocean profile measuring device which can acquire the current profile data up to 100 cells under water. MaxMet UFP(MUFP) can be employed in Coastal sites, inland waters like rivers, dam and streams.

  • Real time display of flow profile data
    • MaxMet dedicated DSP technologies enable to Digital system provides high speed profile data acquisition. Self uncertainty checking algorithm allows efficient and reliable measurement in off-shore as well as inland water resoureces.
  • Multi-transducer array system
    • MaxMet¡¯s sophisticated multi-transducer array system is able to catch all data signals in harsh environment from the northpole to equatorial deep sea. Customers easily replace the transducer array and adjust the measuring ranges from 20 to 1,000 m(65- 3,200 ft).
  • Flexible & Extensive Interfaces
    • Tailor made Serial(RS232/485), USB, IrDA, Multi I/O port, TCP/IP UTP, wireless interfaces for MaxMet UFP control & data acquisition are all possible to best suit your needs.
  • Extreme robustness
    • MaxMet MUFP-2000 series Ocean & River Flow Velocity profiler are extremely robust for long term under-water operation (all models with SS316L, SS316Ti or with TeflonTM coated).
  • Easy Data Management & Logging
    • Special Windows™ based sea/ocean profile analysis software is provided with MaxMet UFP. All software is listed in MaxMet¡¯s website and the users can freely download them. Also the acquired UFP data are saved for maximum one year in dedicated PCMCIA cards.
  • GPS navigation information
    • MaxMet UFP can be embedded the high precision 12 parallel channel GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver module, providing precise GPS positioning using correction data obtained from the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) .
