MaxMet President , Dr. Rex C. H. Kim and Ms. Louisa Lau, international marketing director, have visited Beijing last September.

In fact Dr. Kim has been invited to give lectures in Tsing Hua University, Beijing, PR China on 13rd September 2000 and in this occasion the managerial board of MaxMet wished to get chance to contact some Chinese companies as well as to visit the Miconex2000 exhibition.

Dr. Kim presented two seminars on ultrasonic flow measurement techniques and the smart sensor design technique based on network protocol and got much attentions from the professors of Tsing Hua University and researchers from the Chinese companies relevant to the topics.

During the visit MaxMet contacted several Chinese instrumental companies and the negotiations went very successful. Many excellent companies wish to get the close co-operations in the flow meter development/manufacture for the markets in China and Korea, including overseas markets.

The memorenda of the co-operation will be signed by the interested parties by the end of this year.

MaxMet plans to produce the flow measuring instruments by international co-operation, especially with China and this will be very successful in the nearest future.

MaxMet is also requested by many Korean venture companies to connect the chinese-korean venture markets. MaxMet will combine the technologies of these knowledge groups.
